Dear readers,
This month—Lord willing—we will launch Wilson House Library Company—or, Wilson House.
Wilson House is the local library for Christian culture, based in our home in Armidale, New South Wales.
The books
We will have over 800 books in our collection at launch, featuring Christian living books, classic fiction, theological and philosophical works, as well as picture books and chapter books for children and young readers.
The collection has a special focus on Christian works; however, we aim to have a broad selection of books that touch on every part of human life: the arts, society and culture, history and more.
Browsing & borrowing
You can browse through our collection and choose books to borrow on our website: wilsonhouse.com.au. If you’ve ever shopped for books online, you’ll feel very at home: you can search, discover and order books for borrowing all from your web browser.
Once you’ve placed an order for books, simply arrange a time to come pick them up from our home, and enjoy reading for the next few weeks! Once you’re done, just return them to us in the same way.
Membership
You can become a Patron of Wilson House with an affordable subscription of $40 for three months, or $140 for a year.
Even if you read just a book every month or two, Wilson House is a very affordable option—much more so than buying every book you might want to read.
There is no lock-in with the membership: you can subscribe and unsubscribe from time to time as you like.

We have been working hard on collecting and arranging our books, building our website, and preparing to open to the public.
We are currently in the final stages of testing our website and systems to make sure they work well for Patrons.
All things going well, we expect to open up to Patrons in March 2025. We are very excited about this!
We believe that books are a key part of how culture is formed, preserved, and passed on to succeeding generations.
Our hope is that Wilson House might become a great and valuable resource for building Christian culture here in Armidale, and further afield.
